The PLACE Camp presents a unique opportunity for secondary/high school students to experience university life at the PolyU’s Faculty of Humanities. Based on the two undergraduate programme of the Faculty, namely BA(Hons) in Chinese and Bilingual Studies and BA(Hons) in English Studies for the Professions, PLACE offers students a variety of fun and practical activities and lectures that enhance their knowledge and competence in language, culture and communication. Students will know what it is like being a FH student, and have plenty of opportunities to learn useful hands-on skills and knowledge about language and culture from the FH distinguished teachers in a real university environment. The camp will have about 100 participants coming from different secondary schools in Hong Kong and other parts of the world. Participants will not only be able to unlock their language potential, but also interact with students form reputed local and overseas schools.

1. 日期: 2018年7月17-20日(星期二至星期五)
2. 地點: 香港理工大學
3. 資格: 在2017/18學年就讀中四及中五
4. 語言: 營隊活動以英語進行
5. 費用
• 參加營隊費用全免。
• 參加者在接受錄取時，需以信用卡於網上繳付港幣1,000 元按金。完成營隊所有活動後，可獲退回按金。信用卡退回按金手續約需時兩個月，視乎個別銀行的處理進度而定。
• 退出營隊者的按金將不獲退回。
6. 膳食: 在2018年7月17-20日期間，學校會為參加者提供每天三餐膳食，通常會在學生飯堂用膳。
7. 證書
營隊不佔學分。順利完成營隊活動的參加者可獲頒出席證書。

9. 申請期限: 2018年4月30日
10. 申請結果: 申請者會於2018年6月前收到申請結果的電郵。獲錄取者需於電郵發出一周內繳付按金確認。

Successful applicant have to provide parents letter and cofirmation email/letter from PolyU in advance for applying exemption of summer supplementary classes and/or school activities, if there is any clash.
成功獲取錄申請者如發現活動與暑期補課或其他學校活動相撞，須預先提供家長信及院校通知書，辦理事假手續。
