目的

觀塘區學校眾多，培育無數學生，當中不乏學業成績優異、體藝成就卓越、對社區作出貢獻、關心社會及國家大事之學生。為了在學界進一步推廣積極上進、貢獻社會的風氣，觀塘傑出學生協會舉辦「觀塘區傑出學生選舉」，肯定及嘉許品學兼優、表現傑出的學生，並鼓勵更多學生能以他們為榜樣，努力學習，裝備自己，貢獻社會。

參選資格

觀塘區註冊學校學生，包括：

1. 初中組（中一至中三）
2. 高小組只接受學校推薦，每間學校最多可派出兩位學生參選。
3. 凡曾獲選為觀塘區傑出學生或優秀學生之學生不能再參與同一組別選舉。

參選辦法

1. 親身遞交、傳真及電郵報名一概不接受；
2. 遞交本報名表時，參選學生須附上「成就及獎項」部分之相關證明文件影印本，並在副本右上角標明編號（本會有權就有關資料作出核實）。

備註：申請人之個人資料僅會用於觀塘區傑出學生選舉之事宜，選舉完成後將會被銷毀。

評審團

是次選舉將有決選評審團，本會將邀請教育局、警務處警民關係組、廉政公署、區議員、校長及青年團體代表等擔任評審。評審團將根據參選者的個人素質、學業、課外活動的參與，以及對社會公益事務的熱誠而作出評審。


選拔標準

1. 學業成績優良者；
2. 熱心公益及社區服務者；

決選：

1. 面試表現

選拔程序

1. 進入決選之學生必須參加面試，評審團再按參選者之表現於每組各選出十名「傑出學生」及約十名「優秀學生」。

獎項

1. 各組傑出學生獲發「傑出學生」證書及獎座。

參選規則

1. 參選學生必須服從評審團所作出之決定；
2. 若報名表格中有任何資料遺漏、虛報，本會有權取消其參選資格；

   After the submission of Part A via Google Form, please complete and submit Part B of the application form to our office by post on or before 4th April, 2019 (the date on the postal chop will be taken as the date of application).

   Objectives

   For decades, schools in Kwun Tong have nurtured generations of students. It is noteworthy that there are all-rounded achievers who acquire excellent academic results, demonstrate exemplary conduct and actively participate in extra-curricular activities and social services. In appreciation of their conscious efforts, we hold this election to commend the outstanding students and encourage their peers to learn from these role models. We hope that the election will motivate the younger generation to strive for continual self-enhancement and be ready to contribute to society.

   Eligibility

   Students of registered primary schools and secondary schools in Kwun Tong District

   1. Junior Secondary School Category (Form 1 to Form 3)
   2. Senior primary school students can only apply with school nomination. Each primary school can send up to two students to take part in the election.
   3. Students honoured with Outstanding Student Award or Commended Award in previous elections are NOT allowed to join the same session this year.

   Application

   1. the application form and submit it by post on or before the stipulated deadline (the date on the postal chop will be taken as the date of application). Application submitted in person, by fax or email is NOT accepted.
   2. All copies of the supporting documents for “Achievements and Awards” section must be submitted together with the application form. A code should be marked at the top right corner of each corresponding copy. Further validation may be required.

   Note: This application form will be delivered to each school by post and can be downloaded from our website (http://www.ktosa.org/). Applicants also have to complete an online form to submit their personal information. The personal information of the applicants is only used for matters in relation to Kwun Tong Outstanding Students Election and will be discarded upon its completion.

   Judging Panel

   The members of the Judging Panel include government officials from the Education Bureau and the Police Public Relations Branch, District Council members, school principals, representatives of youth groups, etc. They will assess candidates in terms of their performance in the interview, academic performance, participation in extra-curricular activities, social services, etc.

   Criteria

   1. Excellence in academic results
   2. Active participation in social services
   3. All information presented on the application form

   Final Round:

   1. Performance in the interviews

   Election Procedures

   1. All shortlisted candidates must attend the interviews in the final round. 10 awardees for the Outstanding Student Award and about 10 awardees for the Commended Award will be elected in each session.

   Awards

   1. Each awardee of the Outstanding Student Award will receive a certificate and a trophy.

   Rules and Regulations

   1. Applicants must respect the decisions of the judging panel.
   2. Disqualification may result from any missing or fraudulent information.

      Important remark:

       

      (1)    面試日期 Interview dates

      (i)   如面試及遴選於上課日、試後活動及/或假期補課期間進行，請先自行與相關機構更改面試到非上課時間進行。

      Students should request for rearrangement of interview to non-school day if the interview is assigned on normal school day, Post-exam Activity Days and/or during period of holiday supplementary class.

       

      (ii)  若面試日期、時間未能更改，同學必須事先連同家長信及面試確認信預先向訓導處申請，待審批。

      Students have to submit parents’ letter with interview confirmation letter to Discipline Committee in advance, if interview rearrangement is not approved by organizer.

       

      (2) 活動日期 Activity dates

      (i)   如活動與試後活動及/或假期補課相撞，務必預先連同家長信及活動確認信向訓導處遞交事假申請，並等待審批。

      Students have to submit parents’ letter with activity confirmation letter to Discipline Committee in advance, if the activity clashes with Post-exam Activity and/or holiday supplementary class(es).

      (ii)  如活動與校內其他活動相撞，學生必須事先連同家長信及面試確認信向校內活動負責老師申請請假。

      Students have to submit parents’ letter with activity confirmation letter to Person-in-charge of school activity, if the activity clashes with other school event/activity.
