2021-2022 VTC Principal’s Nomination Scheme (PNS) for Admission to VTC’s Full-time S6 Programmes

Through this Scheme, the qualified S6 applicants with outstanding achievements in non-academic fields will be considered for admission.

The nomination period is from 18 Nov 2021 to 10 Mar 2022.

Scope of the Scheme

To provide an opportunity to applicants who possess outstanding achievement in non-academic fields for admission to the VTC’s Full-time Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma of Foundation Studies, Diploma of Vocational Education and Diploma programmes.

Eligibility for Nomination

Applicants must be recommended by the school through the PNS Account. They must meet the specific entrance requirements of their chosen programme(s) before they are considered for admission through the scheme.

Definition of Outstanding Achievement

i. Non-academic fields may include sports, music, social services, creative art/ writing, or leadership abilities. Achievements in non-acdemic firlds do not include HKDSE or school acdademic results. Applicants must have attained a very high standard in the non-academic fields in the past 3 years, as supported by documentary evidence. Awards of inter-class competitions normally will not be considered.

OR

ii. Performance at school including conduct, all round performance in both academic and non-academic areas, suitability for vocational education,etc.
