Programme Description:

Explore the fun side of business and economics in a five-day programme offering secondary school students a vibrant and rewarding experience with faculty and students of the HKU Business School during the summer.

The programme is composed of lectures given by the instructors of the HKU Business School, and interaction with current business students for exchange of ideas and experience.  Aspects of accounting, business innovation, marketing, and business strategy and management, and their applications in today’s business world will be covered.  Latest topics on economics and finance will also be discussed.  The programme will conclude with a startup pitch competition for students to persuade their professors to “invest” in their company.

Learning objectives:  

The main objective of the programme is to allow prospective students to explore and discover their interest in various areas of business and economics, and offer some insight into what an undergraduate programme in Business may help them achieve.
