BioMeRA aims to provide secondary school students a holistic experience as a biomedical research student in the School of Biomedical Sciences and CUHK. Students ranged from secondary 4 to 6 will be selected to join our Academy from mid-July to late August in the coming summer, supervised by a Research Mentor to conduct research project ranged from cancer, stem cells, neurological and vascular diseases, reproductive and developmental biology, bioinformatics, etc. with their research team. The Academy also includes specially designed activities in the context of biomedical sciences such as mini-lectures, anatomy and physiology workshops, and visits to commercial laboratories. Students will also experience life on the CU campus through activities led by our Student Ambassadors!
