  3. Buddy or Mentor program

  4. Industry exposure through summer internships/ job shadowing opportunities and professional corporate workshops

  5. University Application Support to US/UK (subject to further assessment)

  6. All workshops and programs are free of charge

Eligible Students
  • ACO works with local partner schools in Hong Kong to identify students who are academically high achieving and from under-resourced backgrounds.

  • We welcome applications from students who do not attend a partner school, but may require students to provide additional background information to evaluate eligibility.

  • Students who are eligible for this program should currently be in Form 5; exceptional Form 4 students will also be considered subject to ACO’s assessment review and their school counselors’ and teachers’ recommendations.

Assessment Requirement
  • Total number of student participants is approximately 20-30 per year.

  • Our assessment process allows us to identify academically high achieving but under-resourced students, who are proactively seeking mentorship and career exposure and, critically, who desire to make a positive contribution to their communities.

  • Assessments are based on the following:

    • Application Form

    • Personal Statement

    • Teacher’s Recommendation Letter

    • School’s Recommendation

    • Academic Transcripts

    • “Super Day” Interview

Students who are interested in joining the program, please submit the THREE forms below to Miss Chung Shuk Ting / Miss Cynthia Chu on or before 6 Jan 2020.
