Greetings from the SKYERS Enrichment Team at The University of Hong Kong. We are excited to introduce to your school a summer programme named “HKU Immersive Experience: Multidisciplinary & Community Exploration” hosted by Simon K. Y. Lee Hall at the University of Hong Kong, which will provide an enriching and meaningful summer for S4-S6 students.

This innovative and enriching five-day programme offers a unique opportunity for students to explore different reputable academic fields (Medicine, Dentistry, Science, Engineering and Law) at HKU, engage in cultural exchange experiences with non-local students, and participate in team sports (HKU “new balls” — lacrosse, softball, and hockey), as well as cultural sessions (dancing, bridge, band performances and drama). Students will also join our High Table Dinner, a proud tradition of HKU, which provides a platform for inspiring discussions and networking opportunities with distinguished guests, encapsulating HKU’s rich heritage. A University Admission Sharing will be held, complemented by insider insights from HKU students across various majors, providing a realistic taste of university life and academic pathways.The programme  will conclude with a dynamic ideation session for students to present presenting fresh perspectives and initiatives aimed at enriching the HKU student community.

The programme aims to provide a holistic learning experience that prepares students for future academic and personal endeavors, and is particularly well-suited for those studying at HKU. Participants will not only gain valuable insights into various academic disciplines but also develop essential skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, analysis, and cultural competency.
